SELF-HELP COURSE
Empower yourself to move beyond a life ruled by fear.

I have designed this short and practical course to help you learn to be less afraid of anxiety, reduce it, and deal with it when it feels overwhelming.
The course aims to enforce the principle that you have the power to choose mindsets and behaviours which will support your mind and nervous system in moving beyond a life ruled by fear. By following the course principles and adopting new practices in daily life, you can reduce the impact anxiety has on your life.
The learning is delivered in 11 parts:

2. Concepts to remember: cutting anxiety down to size
3. Take charge of your thoughts
4. Recognise the impact of the past
5. Become your own safe place
6. Give your body what it needs
7. Breaking free from fear of judgement
8. Empowerment through intention
9. The Self-compassionate way of being
10. Cultivating calm
11. Exploring what helps: making a Self-Soothe box
12. Coping strategies for when anxiety hijacks the body.

For each module, there will be a short video, then some self-reflection written exercises to go through in your own time and links to further external reading and resources to explore. You will also gain access also to the summary notes of each section, to print out as a reminder of the key points of learning.

Ideally this course is a supplement to talking therapy (where you can explore, in more depth, the origins of your anxiety, in context with your personal experiences, narrative, life situation and generational/genetic makeup.) This course is for all the clients who ask "but what can I do to help myself between sessions and when I finish therapy?"​
